Jets DE Sheldon Richardson is done playing football for a while. He won't play in the final preseason game, according to Todd Bowles, who doesn't want to risk injury. Because he faces a four-game drug suspension, Richardson's next game is Oct. 18, if then. There's a chance his suspension could be increased due to an arrest in mid-July. He didn't want to speak to reporters after Tuesday's practice.

Bowles was undecided on whether to play rookie Bryce Petty in the finale.
