Report: Johnny Manziel lied about video

The Browns QB, who was demoted to third string this week after a video surfaced of him holding what appeared to be a champagne bottle in a club in Austin, Texas, lied to the team about the timing of the video, according to a Fox Sports report. Fox Sports reports Manziel told the team the video was old, and told his friends to lie to the Browns, as well.

Theres a high level of concern about the severity of the injury suffered by corner Chris Culliver in practice Thursday. Culliver exited Redskins Park on crutches and with a black brace on his right knee. He will receive an MRI this afternoon, but one team official said it didnt look good. But they do not know the extent of the injury and are hoping it's not as bad as they fear. Culliver also underwent an MRI on his shoulder earlier this week and the Redskins are awaiting a second opinion. Safety Dashon Goldson said of Culliver, Hes concerned . Hes had to battle some things this year. Hes frustrated with that so for him to go down, Im sure theres a lot of frustration."

Eagles tie the game at 7

Mark Sanchez's short pass was collected by Brent Celek for a 2-yard touchdown that tied the game vs. Detroit early in the second quarter. It was Celek's third receiving TD this season, tied with Josh Huff for most on the Eagles. Follow live

Texans defensive end JJ Watt went to punter Shane Lechler's house for Thanksgiving last year. This year Lechler's is spending Thanksgiving with his in-laws, so Watt is on his own. "It's probably best," said Watt, who generally sticks to a strict diet. "... I'll stick to my diet properly and we'll be fine. I won't nap for nine hours straight after I eat."
