Strange, but true: Ryan Fitzpatrick's 91.4 QBR was only the third 90+ QBR for the Jets over the last three seasons, according to ESPN Stats & Info. The previous two, both by Geno Smith, also came against Miami on the road.

Putting the Jets' fast start into perspective: They're 3-1 for the first time since 2010. Yesterday was their third win by at least 13 points; they had two such wins in the previous two seasons. As for Chris Ivory's 166 rushing yards, it was the most by a Jet since Thomas Jones ran for 210 in Week 6 of 2009.

Payton said they need to look at that operation, might have to consider going for 2.

SAINTS 26, COWBOYS 20 (final): The good feelings of a fourth-down touchdown catch by Terrance Williams could last only so long. With some luck the Cowboys got to overtime but it didn't last long with C.J. Spiller's 80-yard TD on the second play of overtime. The Cowboys have lost two straight and welcome New England to AT&T Stadium next week.
