Former 49ers owner Eddie DeBartolo, Jr. has been selected as a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2016 by the Hall's Contributors Committee. DeBartolo was the team's owner for its five Super Bowl championships but was forced to give up the franchise for his involvement in a corruption case of former Louisiana governor Edwin Edwards in 2000.

They were all standing up behind Sean Payton on podium for a few minutes before Payton told them to sit down, nobody wants to hear from them. Payton joked that he doesn't know if the naïveté of the draft class is good or bad.

Bills 'concerned' McCoy won't be ready

A source tells Josina Anderson the team thinks RB LeSean McCoy may not be fully ready for Week 1. McCoy suffered a hamstring injury in practice Aug. 18. According to the source, McCoy is not at full speed in practice, but is doing rehab work, however there is concern he won't be in great "football shape."
