Palmer still is recovering from a low-grade, high left ankle sprain he suffered against the Tennessee Titans last Sunday. He's been limited all week, but Arians wouldn't commit to him playing against the Seahawks after Friday's practice even though the quarterback's mobility hasn't been an issue.
"Like you think it would be with an ankle sprain," Arians said. "He's OK. He's good enough to play. He can move around the pocket as well as he did last week."
Arians confirmed that wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald will see an independent neurologist after Friday's practice, his third doctor visit this week. This last neurologist will be the one who can clear Fitzgerald to play Sunday.
Safety Rashad Johnson (high ankle sprain) is the only Cardinals player listed as doubtful for Sunday's game. It's looking unlikely he'll be back for the rest of the season despite significant progress since suffering the injury against Tennessee.
"It's a very iffy one," Arians aid. "When you're dealing with those high ankle sprains, he can get up and walk fine, jog fine. He just can't get to his toes and run yet.
"That's a great prognosis because we never thought he'd be able to do that for another week."
