Jay Z to advise Ndamukong Suh
More From ESPN.com
Ndamukong Suh's reported alignment with Jay Z and Roc Nation offers an opportunity for both to capitalize on each other's burgeoning success, Michael Rothstein writes. Analysis
Suh represents Jay Z's biggest football client, though Roc Nation Sports declined to comment on the Lions' lineman Tuesday.
Suh, who is entering the final year of his rookie contract with the Lions, left Relativity Sports last month to seek new representation.
The move came days after Lions president Tom Lewand and general manager Martin Mayhew said the club and Suh have expressed a desire for him to stay in Detroit long term.
Suh is scheduled to make $22.4 million against the Lions' cap next season and will have a base salary of $12.55 million. He recorded 49 tackles and 5.5 sacks last season.
