Cornerback Mike Jenkins has agreed to a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the team announced.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Jenkins, a native of nearby Bradenton, Fla., and a product of the University of South Florida, spent five years with the Dallas Cowboys and last season with the Oakland Raiders.

The Bucs are shuffling their secondary after releasing cornerback Darrelle Revis and his $16 million salary. Tampa Bay previously signed free agent Alterraun Verner, who's likely to start at one cornerback spot.

Johnthan Banks, who was drafted by the Bucs last year, also is in the mix for a starting job.
