If anyone was wondering I'm fine
- Bernard Pierce (@BPierce_30) August 24, 2014
Pierce is expected to fill in as the Ravens' starting running back for the first two weeks of the regular season while Ray Rice serves his two-game suspension.
Pierce left the field at the end of the opening drive when unblocked Redskins linebacker Keenan Robinson hit him on fourth-and-1. Pierce was taken to the locker room as part of the concussion protocol and never returned to the game.
Ravens coach John Harbaugh didn't have any update on Pierce following the Ravens' 23-17 win over the Redskins.
Pierce has run for 89 yards and one touchdown on 21 carries this preseason.
Baltimore Ravens running back Bernard Pierce announced out that the head injury he sustained in Saturday night's preseason game is not serious.
