TAMPA, Fla. -- Buccaneers offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford underwent an unspecified medical procedure Monday morning, coach Lovie Smith said.
Smith wouldn't go into details about the procedure, but said Tedford was resting comfortably. Smith said Tedford should only be away from the team for a brief period.
It's unclear if Tedford will return in time for Thursday night's preseason game with Washington. Smith said the rest of the offensive staff would pull together to pick up the slack in Tedford's absence.
