Frank Gore out with concussion

SEATTLE -- San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore left Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks late in the second quarter with a concussion.

The 49ers announced that Gore will not return to the game against their NFC West rivals.

It was Gore who gave the 49ers a 7-3 lead with his 10-yard touchdown run on 4th-and-1 with 13:22 to play in the second quarter.

Gore was injured attempting to block Seahawks middle linebacker Bobby Wagner on a 22-yard catch and run by fullback Bruce Miller. Gore had 29 yards rushing on 11 carries at halftime.
