Bryant faces charges for possession of Adderall and Oxycodone. Former Brown De'Ante Saunders was indicted for improperly handling a weapon in a motor vehicle.
The charges came as a result of Saunders being pulled over for speeding on a Cleveland area interstate on Christmas morning. Ohio Highway Patrol stopped the car at about 2:15 a.m. Troopers searched the car and found a Glock handgun and 22-round magazine.
Three pills -- two Oxycodones and one Adderall -- also were found in the car.
The team made Bryant inactive for the final two games. Saunders was released from the practice squad soon after the incident.
An arraignment is scheduled for both on Feb. 24 in Cuyahoga County common pleas court.
Bryant also could be disciplined by the NFL for violations of the personal conduct and substance-abuse policies.
