The St. Louis Rams have reached agreement with former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Mike Sims-Walker on a one-year deal, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Sims-Walker, who will turn 27 in November, had 43 catches for 562 yards and seven touchdowns last season with the Jaguars, a year after he produced 63 catches for 869 yards and seven scores.

Sidelined by injuries his first two years, Sims-Walker eventually developed into David Garrard's go-to guy.

A third-round draft pick in 2007 out of Central Florida, Sims-Walker missed his rookie year because of a knee injury, then sat out several games last season because of a sprained ligament in his other knee and an ensuing staph infection that required hospitalization.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.
