Terrell Owens is among the list of former NFL star players heading to London to take part in festivities around the NFL's annual regular-season game on October 23.
The former San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills wide receiver, currently unconnected to an NFL team, will participate in a weekend-long series of events before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Chicago Bears at Wembley Stadium.
Owens' duties will include being at NFL Friday Night Lights, a special movie night in Trafalgar Square featuring a screening of "Jerry Maguire;" an on-stage appearance at the NFL Fan Rally in Trafalgar Square the following day in front of a likely crowd of around 30,000; and participation in the Tailgate Party on game day, when 45,000 fans are expected to be present at the biggest pregame celebration in British sport.
Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jerome Bettis will also be traveling to London, along with Hall of Famer Richard Dent, his former Bears teammate Otis Wilson, Buccaneers Super Bowl-winning quarterback Brad Johnson and ex-Bucs tight end Jimmie Giles.
