Ray Lewis, A.J. Green out
Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis didn't play because of a toe injury that kept him from practicing all week. And Bengals rookie reciever A.J. Green also didn't play due to a hyperextended right knee he suffered last week.
Lewis had started 57 consecutive games, a streak dating back to December 2007. Lewis, 37, leads the Ravens with 68 tackles, also getting two sacks, one interception and two forced fumbles this season.
Undrafted free agent Dannell Ellerbe started at middle linebacker in Lewis' absence. Ellerbe has started four career games, with 87 career tackles, one interception and one fumble recovery.
Entering play Sunday, Green led the Bengals in catches (41), receiving yards (635) and receiving touchdowns (six). Andre Caldwell made his second start of the season in place of Green.
The Ravens won 31-24.
