Montario Hardesty out for Browns
CLEVELAND -- Browns running back Montario Hardesty missed his third consecutive game with a calf injury.
Hardesty tore a calf muscle on Oct. 30 at San Francisco. He returned to practice this week and had hoped to play in Sunday's game against Jacksonville. However, the Browns listed him as one of their seven inactives.
With both Hardesty and Peyton Hillis (hamstring) sidelined with injuries, Cleveland's running game has struggled. Chris Ogbonnaya, signed last month off Houston's practice squad, started for Hardesty. Ogbonnaya rushed for 90 yards in last week's loss to St. Louis.
Hillis has missed five straight games with an injury sustained in Oakland on Oct. 16.
The Jaguars have no notable inactives.
