PHILADELPHIA -- Eagles cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha will start against the New England Patriots just three days after hurting his knee in practice and being carted off the field.

Quarterback Michael Vick will not play against New England because of broken ribs.

Vick misses his second straight game. Vince Young will start in his place.

Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (hamstring) and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (ankle) also are inactive for Philadelphia (4-6).

The Patriots (7-3) won't have three starters: cornerback Devin McCourty (shoulder), safety Patrick Chung (foot) and center Dan Connolly (groin). Wide receiver Chad Ochocinco (hamstring) also is out.

Vick broke two lower ribs in a loss to Arizona on Nov. 13.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.
