Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz reminded his players in a Saturday night meeting that he expects them to play a clean, smart, aggressive game against the Minnesota Vikings and he well-defined a new zero-tolerance policy for post-whistle personal foul penalties to the entire organization: Even if your name is Matthew Stafford, the player will be banished from the rest of the game, a source told ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew was among those docked pay, fined $25,000 by the NFL for abusive conduct toward an official.

The league also said receiver Nate Burleson was fined $7,500 for grabbing a Saints player by the face mask, and returner Stefan Logan was fined $7,500 for flipping the football to an opponent.
