Arizona Cardinals quarterback John Skelton started Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.
Kevin Kolb was ruled inactive Sunday afternoon as he continues to recover from a concussion.
Skelton's backup was Richard Bartel.
Kolb had increased his participation in practice late in the week. But the effects left by a knee to the head during a win Sunday against San Francisco will sideline him for at least one game.
