Source: Miami, Mike McCoy to talk again

The Miami Dolphins are ready to begin a second round of interviews for their head coaching vacancy.

A league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter on Tuesday that Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy, Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin and Dolphins interim coach Todd Bowles will be brought back to meet with team owner Stephen Ross for a second time.

McCoy had his first meeting with Miami on Monday after Denver's season ended in a blowout divisional playoff loss to the New England Patriots on Saturday.

He was the first candidate to meet with the Dolphins since they were turned down Friday by former Titans coach Jeff Fisher, who chose instead to become coach of the St. Louis Rams. McCoy helped restructure the Broncos' offense midway through the season to capitalize on Tim Tebow's unique skill set, a move that buoyed the Broncos to the AFC West title.

Bowles is the only one of the three candidates with head coaching experience after coaching the Dolphins for the final three games of the 2011 season.

Philbin has also decided to interview for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coaching position this week, league and team sources told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen.

Philbin's previous interview with the Dolphins came before the shocking death of his son last week.
