Albert Haynesworth's appeal hearing over his four-game suspension without pay that was set for Tuesday has been postponed after the Washington Redskins requested a new date, his agent told ESPN's Josina Anderson.

Agent Chad Speck said there was a schedule conflict with one of the Redskins' witnesses. A new date for a hearing has not been determined, he said.

Haynesworth joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in November after the team claimed him off waivers from the New England Patriots.

Haynesworth had signed a $100 million deal with Washington with $41 million guaranteed. But the Redskins traded him to New England in July after two seasons highlighted by poor production and a running battle with Washington coach Mike Shanahan.

Citing a litany of acts that essentially added up to season-long insubordination, the Redskins suspended Haynesworth for "conduct detrimental to the club" for the last four games of 2010.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.
