Source: Levi Brown back to Cards
Two days after the Cardinals released him, offensive tackle Levi Brown agreed to a five-year deal with Arizona, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Before being cut Tuesday to clear salary-cap space, Brown was set to count $17 million against the 2012 cap.
Brown, whose strength is run blocking, started 75 of 77 games for the Cardinals in five NFL seasons.
He began his NFL career at right tackle, including in Super Bowl XLIII, but played left tackle last season.
Arizona selected the 6-foot-6, 324-pound Brown with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2007 draft, ahead of Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.
Information from ESPN.com's Mike Sando and ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter was used in this report.
