Sando: Seahawks' Plan Without Lynch
If Marshawn Lynch misses the opener, the Seahawks are at least in better position to survive his absence than they were a year ago, writes Mike Sando. Blog
Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has experienced back spasms and the team is uncertain whether he'll be able to play Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, a team source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Lynch missed practice Monday and hasn't played since the second week of the exhibition season.
Lynch started 15 games last season, missing a game against Cleveland when back spasms flared up right before kickoff.
Lynch was seventh in the league last season with 1,204 rushing yards and tied for third with 12 rushing touchdowns.
Information from ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter and ESPN.com's Mike Sando was used in this report.
