ST. LOUIS -- Danny Amendola of the St. Louis Rams has 12 receptions in the first half to tie the NFL record set by the Colts' Reggie Wayne in 2007.
The reception total Sunday against the Washington Redskins tied his career high for a game and his 133 yards are a career high for Amendola, undrafted out of Texas Tech.
Amendola had a 1-yard touchdown reception, rebounding after his fumble on the Rams' first snap was returned for a touchdown by Josh Wilson.
Amendola caught five passes for 70 yards in the opener. He missed virtually all of last season after injuring his elbow in the opener.
