Greg Jennings says he's playing

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings, who has been suffering from a lingering groin injury, will play Monday night against the Seattle Seahawks, he told ESPN's Lisa Salters.

Jennings said he's still sore, but he feels good enough to play at a high level.

Coach Mike McCarthy is calling Jennings a game-time decision. The receiver will be evaluated before Monday night's game. He missed the Packers' last game with the injury.

McCarthy said on Saturday that he thought the Pro Bowl wide receiver had a better than 50-50 shot of playing in the Packers' first road game this season.

"I thought Greg looked good today," McCarthy said after watching Jennings practice Saturday for the second straight day. "He made a big jump from earlier in the week. He practiced well."

Jennings initially was hurt in the final minutes of Green Bay's season-opening loss to San Francisco on Sept. 9. The Packers had a quick turnaround for their next game, beating Chicago 23-10 four days later.
