Two more out for Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to be without five players for Sunday night's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Running backs Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles) and Isaac Redman (ankle), who were both previously listed as questionable, haven't practiced all week and won't play. Also sidelined are safety Troy Polamalu (calf), tackle Marcus Gilbert (ankle) and linebacker Chris Carter (hamstring), as coach Mike Tomlin ruled them out earlier this week.

Mendenhall strained his right Achilles tendon in last Thursday's loss at Tennessee, an injury Mendenhall said is partially related to the torn ACL he suffered in his right knee on New Year's Day. Redman is undergoing treatment for a balky ankle that cut short a breakout game; he became the first Pittsburgh running back in more than 40 years to have more than 100 yards receiving when he caught four passes for 105 yards.

Mike Adams will start at right tackle, and Jonathan Dwyer will start at running back. Center Maurkice Pouncey (knee) is lobbying to play but the team will evaluate once they see how he does in pregame warm-ups.
