Adrian Peterson (ankle) probable
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is listed as probable to play at Seattle, despite his absence from the final full practice of the week.
NFC North blog
ESPN.com's Kevin Seifert writes about all things NFC North in his division blog.
The Vikings wanted to give the sprained left ankle that has bothered Peterson for the last month some extra rest, so he worked in the pool and received treatment instead of taking the field Friday. But coach Leslie Frazier said the move was merely precautionary.
Free safety Mistral Raymond is questionable for Sunday, but he's not ready to start yet. Jamarca Sanford will remain in his place.
Tight end John Carlson is out against the Seahawks. He still hasn't been cleared for action after a concussion he had in the game two weeks ago. Frazier said he's hoping for "good news" on Carlson next week.
