The Titans are still fuming about what they felt was a cheap shot by Houston Texans defensive tackle Antonio Smith on guard Fernando Velasco during Tennessee's final offensive play of last Sunday's game between the teams.

Smith hit Velasco with a blindside block after Jake Locker was intercepted and was flagged by officials, but Velasco wants Smith to take a hit in his wallet, as well.

Velasco called Smith's hit "a very, very, cheap shot."

"Especially in a game situation like that where the ballgame is (nearly over). It was uncalled for. Hopefully the league will take a look at it and do what they got to do and give him a fine sometime this week," he told reporters.

Locker confronted Smith after Sunday's game, which was won by the Texans 24-10.

"I just made a block. I guess only offensive linemen can make hard blocks or whatever," Smith told the Houston Chronicle. "So they threw a flag on me. What they gotta understand is we're all just trying to play football. Nobody's trying to deliberately hurt anybody."

Titans coach Mike Munchak, a Hall of Fame offensive lineman, didn't mince words when asked about the play.

"Totally unnecessary. Uncalled for. No place in the game for it. All those things," he said. "They threw the flag. Obviously they saw it. I'm sure there'll be some consequences to that. That's just totally out of line."
