Source: NFL promotes Troy Vincent

The NFL promoted Troy Vincent, once a finalist for the NFLPA's executive director job, to senior vice president, one of the highest ranking jobs in the league office, according to a source.
Vincent gets a new title, a new role and expanded responsibilities.
In his 15-year NFL career, Vincent played for the Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins.
Vincent, a five-time Pro Bowl selection, finished with 47 interceptions.
A Feb. 7 ESPN.com story about a source telling ESPN that Troy Vincent is being promoted to an NFL senior vice president incorrectly stated who the job was with. Vincent works for the NFL.
