Texans evaluating WR Andre Johnson

HOUSTON -- Houston Texans star wide receiver Andre Johnson is going through the NFL's concussion protocol after suffering a concussion against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

Johnson suffered the injury after making a 21-yard catch at the 2-yard line that set up the Texans' game-tying touchdown.

Titans cornerback Jason McCourty was covering Johnson and safety Bernard Pollard came in to help finish the hit. Pollard's hit struck Johnson in the head.

Texans coach Gary Kubiak said Johnson rode the bike during Monday's walkthrough.

Johnson had eight catches for 76 yards before leaving the game in the fourth quarter. Rookie receiver DeAndre Hopkins took over as the Texans' primary target, scoring the game-winning touchdown in Houston's 30-24 overtime victory.
