Foster re-aggravated a hamstring injury in Kansas City. He had missed some practice time the previous week with the same injury. Foster nodded when asked if he knew right away that he wouldn't be able to finish the game after suffering the injury in the first quarter of the Texans' 17-16 loss to the Chiefs.
"It's coming along good," Foster said.
Asked if the injury consisted of any tears, Foster said he didn't know.
Foster has rushed for 542 yards on 121 carries this season with one rushing touchdown. Foster has also caught 22 passes for 183 yards this season.
Ben Tate entered Sunday's game in his place. This season Tate has rushed 66 times for 318 yards and has also scored one rushing touchdown. Tate suffered a rib injury during the game, but finished it anyway. He told The Associated Press he has four broken ribs.
