Gibson injured his knee when he landed awkwardly in the first half of a 27-17 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday.
Gibson was a dependable receiver who had 30 receptions for 326 yards and three touchdowns. He caught all three touchdowns in Miami's last two games.

Miami (3-4) will play the Cincinnati Bengals (6-2) on Thursday night.
The Miami Dolphins put slot receiver Brandon Gibson on injured reserve Tuesday, the team announced.
