JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jaguars reserve linebackers John Lotulelei and J.T. Thomas were involved in an incident while the team was in London last weekend, but general manager Dave Caldwell classified it as minor and said it was handled internally.
Caldwell did not elaborate on whether the players were involved in a fight with each other, a teammate or anyone outside the team. Deadspin.com, citing anonymous sources, reported that at least two players were involved in a fight either with hotel security or a group of men, some of which wore brass knuckles, on Sunday night after the team lost to the San Francisco 49ers at Wembley Stadium.
Lotulelei, a rookie who was claimed off waivers from Seattle on Oct. 3, and Thomas, a third-year player claimed off waivers from Chicago on Sept. 1, are still on the roster. Both play mainly on special teams and have played only one snap each on defense this season.
