Although it seemed evident that Grady Jarrett would play nose tackle with Paul Soliai gone, Falcons coach Dan Quinn confirmed on 92.9 The Game it would be Jarrett's position in 2016. Jarrett played that role when Soliai was hurt last season. And Jarrett will be listed as NT not DT.

Washington State OLB Ivan McClennan could be the undrafted player to watch for the Falcons. McClennan (6-3, 238) ran a 4.59 40 and posted a 36-inch vertical at pro day. Had six sacks and nine tackles for losses last season.

Falcons coach Dan Quinn said "heck no" when asked if Devin Hester has been cleared for any activity coming off offseason toe surgery. Quinn said he is hopeful that Hester is ready prior to training camp. "That toe, it's got to be right," Quinn said. "And we're not going to put him out there until it is." Quinn said drafting WR/KR Devin Fuller had nothing to do with Hester.
