In a statement Wednesday, Bills GM Doug Whaley said he "used a poor choice of words" when he said football was a game that humans aren't supposed to play.

Statement from the PFWA on the Bills' controversial media reporting policy: "As an organization the Pro Football Writers of America believes this is a vast over-reach of the guidelines in the current media policy and its full implementation has little impact, by any objective standards, on a team's prospective on-field results in the regular season. It is not only un-necessary, it is not in compliance."
