Panthers CB Chris Houston retiring

Houston's return after sitting out the 2014 season to recover from toe surgery lasted 51 days. The team offered no explanation for the 30-year-old's decision. He's the second Panthers player to retire in a week after OT Jonathan Martin informed the team last week he had given up football.
