Panthers safety Kurt Coleman says the "Thieves Ave." sign the secondary took with it to the Super Bowl in Santa Clara, Calif. is back in the locker room in Charlotte. David Newton ESPN Staff Writer

New Panthers TE Eric Wallace, a former basketball player and Australian Rules Football player, says he was the bruiser when playing footy. Lots of interesting stories from being recruited by Kansas basketball coach Roy Williams to walking up to the Panthers stadium and asking to meet wide receivers coach Ricky Proehl for a tryout. He really believes he can make it in the NFL even though he hasn't played football since he was 14.
