In less than two years, the Bears have gone from the oldest roster in the NFL to one of the youngest. But are the Bears prepared for life without proven veterans such as Matt Forte and Matt Slauson? "Missing guys like Forte and Slauson, there are large voids to be filled," Kyle Long said. "But this team has been built on horizontal leadership...so I don't think that will be an issue."

Former Bears 1st round pick Kevin White is fully participating in OTAs after missing his entire rookie year. While Chicago has yet to see White play in a game, 2016 4th round pick LB Nick Kwiatkowski, White's ex-teammate at West Virginia, says the WR is explosive on the field.

The Bears signed LB Jarrett Grace and waived LB Danny Mason. Grace is an undrafted rookie out of Notre Dame, who attended the Bears rookie minicamp as a rookie tryout.
