How will Bengals adapt to new coaches?

Cincinnati replaced six assistant coaches during the offseason, and new defensive line coach Jacob Burney has already received high praise from the Bengals linemen. Under-the-radar storylines

Adam Jones, one of the players who helped author the end-of-game collapse in the Bengals' wild-card playoff loss to Pittsburgh, said today he's watched that entire game "about 10 times" this offseason. It's always tough to watch. Said Jones: "We kicked they ass the whole game ... And it hurt me to my heart that we let it go like that. But it's over with. It's in the past."

Bengals today placed LB Vontaze Burfict on the active/non-football injury list. He joins LB Rey Maualuga there. Both could come off at any time once medically cleared. Cincy also signed former Charger safety Jimmy Wilson today.

Burfict's suspension will have big effect

Dan Graziano's list of the offseason's biggest impact "moves" is mostly filled with transactions. But the suspension of Vontaze Burfict is too big to overlook. Moves with immediate impact

Good luck stopping these big fellas

Since 2011, four defensive tackles have averaged at least six sacks per season. Leading the way is Geno Atkins, who has 40 sacks in that span despite missing seven games in 2013 due to a torn ACL.

Bengals placed three on the active/PUP list: DT Brandon Thompson, TE Tyler Eifert, WR James Wright. They also placed LB Rey Maualuga on the non-football injury list. Rookies DE Dezmond Johnson and RB DyShawn Mobley were released, and Canadian WR Rashaun Simonise was formally signed today, as well.

A pre-training camp tradition like no other. Featuring its famed mystery meat, here's the "Mock Turtle Soup" that kicks off the Bengals' media day luncheon. Seriously. No one really knows what the meat is (or won't say). This soup dates back to the luncheons Paul Brown would hold after he founded the team (hopefully this particular bowl doesn't date that far back).

Bengals owner Mike Brown: "Vontaze Burfict is one hell of a football player. We want him on the football field. We regret that we won't have him for three games, but he'll be back after that. He's a difference maker, and we're lucky to have him."

Bengals owner and president Mike Brown repeats what's become an annual message: "We know we still have to take the next step."

All eyes will be on Tyler Eifert's recovery

The Bengals' top tight end was hurt in the Pro Bowl and looks doubtful to be ready by Week 1. For now, that's Cincinnati's biggest health concern. Injury questions

Can Dalton shine with unproven targets?

Andy Dalton had easily the best season of his career in 2015, but his group of targets is awfully different entering 2016. ESPN Stats & Info breaks it down as we prepare for training camp. Top stats to know
