CHARGERS 13, BROWNS 13 (HALFTIME): An evenly matched first half played out that way in the score. The Browns got a TD and seven catches from RB Duke Johnson, and Josh McCown threw for 212 yards as the Browns threw 26 passes and ran the ball just eight times.

Browns have lead early

The Browns put the first points on the board with a 36-yard FG but the Chargers made it to the end zone first when Philip Rivers threw to Keenan Allen for a 28-yard TD. Cleveland answered back quickly with a TD by Duke Johnson Jr. The Browns lead the Chargers 10-7 in the second quarter. Follow live

The Browns waited four games but got their first payoff from RB Duke Johnson, who beat a LB for 34-yard TD catch. That’s the kind of mismatch the Browns envisioned with him.

Browns inactives: CB Joe Haden, RB Robert Turbin, CB K’Waun Williams, LB Craig Robertson, LB Scott Solomon, TE E.J. Bibbs, DE Desmond Bryant. Browns without four defensive starters and nickel back.

In a bit of a surprise, cornerback Joe Haden is inactive today vs. Chargers. Haden has injuries to his ribs and finger. The Browns face Philip Rivers without two of their top three CBs -- Haden and K'Waun Williams (concussion).
