For Broncos when coach Gary Kubiak was asked Monday if rookie Trevor Siemian's play would force the team to keep three quarterbacks when the roster goes to 53 players, Kubiak said; "we'll see, we'll see how it pans out." The Broncos released Zac Dysert Monday and are not expected to bring Dysert back on the practice squad.

In terms of the Broncos depth chart two of the most intriguing items from Saturday night's preseason win were: WR Jordan Norwood working as the No. 3 receiver in the starting offense with Emmanuel Sanders out and Juwan Thompson entering the as the No. 3 back, ahead of Montee Ball.

On the endzone interception against the 49ers and another missed touchdown when he underthrew Demaryius Thomas, Peyton Manning said "bad throw by me, under throwing Demaryius, really twice on the interception, missed him another time that would have been a touchdown ... Just got to do a better job of finishing in the red zone."
