Ford family not happy with Lions' play

Lions coach Jim Caldwell said he spoke with franchise owner Martha Firestone Ford after Sunday's 42-17 loss to Arizona and that she is not happy with the product the winless Lions have produced on the field so far. "They were certainly as upset about this game as anybody, like they have been about the entire season," Caldwell said.

Stafford benched, still the starter

According to Lions QB Matthew Stafford: "[Coach Jim Caldwell] told me at halftime if I threw another INT, I'd be pulled out of the game. Obviously, threw one. Wish I wouldn't have." But Caldwell said after the game: "He's still our starter, so there'll be no issues there. So there is no QB controversy or anything of that nature. But I know one thing, we got to get better.

Detroit favored to get first win
