Hoyer reclaims Texans' starting QB job

Texans coach Bill O'Brien said Brian Hoyer will be the team's starter for Jacksonville. Asked if Hoyer could be the starter for the season, O'Brien said he is looking at this as a series of one-game seasons. Hoyer entered the game in the second quarter and threw for 312 yards and two touchdowns.
Texans quarterback Ryan Mallett was less than pleased at not getting back into Thursday night's loss to the Colts.
What's up with Houston's defense?
A season ago, the Texans' defense was able to sack the quarterback on 7.4 percent of dropbacks without blitzing, which was the 2nd-best rate in the league. This year, they're sacking quarterbacks on just 1.2 percent of their non-blitz dropbacks (31st in the NFL).
