It was fitting that the Saints hosted a game on the day after the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, which the team commemorated with messages before a preseason game with the Texans.

Drew Brees is done for the day after one drive for the Saints. He finished 4-of-6 for 40 yards, completing his first four throws as New Orleans marched to the #Texans 10-yard line. But he couldn't connect on contested passes to Marques Colston or Josh Hill near the end zone. So the Saints settled for a field goal.
