Veteran CB Tarell Brown is expected to be ready for normal duty for the Patriots on Sunday vs. the Cowboys. After being limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday because of his foot, he was a full participant Friday and is listed as probable on the injury report. Brown opened 2015 as the starter opposite Malcolm Butler.

Patriots special teams captain Matthew Slater will wear these Sunday vs. the Cowboys as part of the NFL's breast cancer awareness campaign. "There are several women in my life who have been affected by breast cancer, and my wife being a woman's pathologist, she diagnoses breast cancer every day. The more awareness we can build, the more momentum we can build to finding a cure, that would be awesome. That's the reason I'm wearing the shoes."
