In a light moment near the end of his news conference, Tom Brady was asked about Thanksgiving football in New England and how it will be the last game in the careers for many. When the questioner asked him how thankful he feels to still be playing 20-plus years later, and how he has a game Sunday that won't cause his wife to say 'What the heck are you wasting your time doing that for?', Brady drew laughter by saying, "She says that all the time. She said it to me last night."

Tom Brady on Peyton Manning: "There is nobody who has more respect for Peyton than me, outside probably his parents and his brothers. If anybody can appreciate what he has accomplished, it's me. He's just been remarkable in every part of his career. He's been a tremendous player. It's unfortunate; everyone deals with injuries at different times. It just happens to be this week."
