Which team will win the AFC South?

The reigning Texans added reinforcements on offense this spring, while the Jaguars and Titans have youth on their side. Oh, and the Colts have Andrew Luck. Dan Graziano breaks it down.

What to expect from Mike Mularkey

The Titans surprised some when they dropped Mularkey's interim tag, especially considering the coach's failed stints at the helm in Buffalo and Jacksonville. Dan Graziano assesses his outlook in Tennessee.

DeMarco Murray's contract is a rare one

Few running backs cash in like Murray did last offseason in Philadelphia. Then, after a horrid season, he somehow got $3 million more guaranteed this spring in Tennessee. Player-friendly contracts (Insider)

Peyton Manning spoke of Pat Summitt on The Wake Up Zone in Nashville this morning. He sought her advice when he was deciding whether to stay at Tennessee for his senior season. "I was honored to call her a friend, I enjoyed my time with Pat," he said. "...Even though I never played for her, I always kind of felt like she was one of my coaches. And I always said that I wished I would have played for her. I think Pat Summitt could have coached men's basketball, men's football, she could have coached anything she wanted. She was that good of a coach."

Jeff Fisher played on Buddy Ryan's legendary 1985 Bears defense (and basically served as an assistant after he was hurt). Fisher began his coaching career under Ryan in Philadelphia. Later, Ryan moved from Oilers coordinator to Cardinals head coach in 1994, the same year Fisher landed in Houston as coordinator. Fisher became interim coach later that year when Jack Pardee was fired. I started covering the team in 1996 and remember players talking about it taking a good while to get beyond the offense-defense split Pardee allowed and Ryan really fueled. You don't see that sort of in-house rivalry like that anymore and it wasn't very health. But boy was it entertaining.

Will the Jags' defense be dangerous?

If Jacksonville's talent on defense lives up to its billing, the Jaguars should be contenders for the division crown. But will it? Dan Graziano breaks it down.

Titans got a steal in Delanie Walker

The 2013 free-agent addition has blossomed in Tennessee, and the two-year extension he signed this offseason remains a good deal for the Titans. Friendly contracts (Insider)

Titans posted open mascot job last week as they seek to replace Pete Nelson, the original T-Rac. New personal make between $35-75k.

The guy who's been T-Rac, the Titans raccoon mascot since it started in 1999, said on Facebook he is no longer the guy who will wear the costume. I once took a mascot class he taught and wrote an article about it. Among the wisdom: "Don't be just another guy in a suit" and "High elbows and knees."

Mularkey logged time as a tight end

A ninth-round pick of the 49ers in 1983, Titans head coach Mike Mularkey was your classic backup tight end whose blocking skills helped him carve out a decade. His nine seasons in the NFL earned him the No. 4 spot on our list. Ranking all 32 NFL coaches as players

Titans on Derrick Morgan's comments asking for NFL to research medical benefits of cannabis. "Derrick is a valued member of the Tennessee Titans. While we will decline comment on the content of his statements, we respect Derrick a great deal, and we believe our players always have the right to express their viewpoints on topics about which they are passionate."
