Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller's appeal of his four-game suspension is now scheduled to be heard Aug. 15, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter on Thursday.

Miller has offered no details about his pending suspension for violating the league's substance-abuse policy, but was adamant that he doesn't smoke marijuana.

Miller repeatedly invoked the NFL's confidentiality clause in response to questions during a session with reporters in late July.

The All-Pro pass-rusher acknowledged his case is under appeal and promised he would provide some candid answers once the appeal is resolved.

Miller, 24, had 18.5 sacks last season for the Broncos following a 2011 season in which he recorded 11.5 sacks and was named Associated Press Defensive Rookie of the Year. According to ESPN Stats & Information, since Miller entered the league in 2011, only Jared Allen (34), Aldon Smith (33.5) and DeMarcus Ware (31) have more sacks than Miller (30).

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.
