CB | (5-10, 175, 4.55) | Georgia Tech
By Pro Football Weekly

Notes: Played basketball and ran track in high school. Ran an unofficial 21.92 seconds in the 200 meters and 10.72 in the 100 meters. Redshirted in '98 after coming to Tech. Started eight games and returned punts in '99. Started four games in 2000, when he was slowed by a pulled hamstring. In '01, started 11 games but sat out vs. The Citadel because of a pulled left hamstring. Started every game in '02. Had 39 tackles, broke up five passes and had two interceptions along with 29 punt returns for 322 yards in 1999. In 2000, he had 18-1-1 and 11 punt returns for 94 yards. Had 43-12-3 in '01 and 37-8-0 in '02.

Positives: Will hit, tackle and support the run. Above-average zone defender. Should be able to contribute on special teams.

Negatives: Slightly built with very short arms. Can be muscled and overpowered. Marginal speed for a cornerback. A little tight in the hips. Loses a step in transition. Lacks closing speed and long speed. Struggles to find the ball with his back turned to the quarterback and can be turned and burned when playing man-off or bump.

Summary: Could make it as a fourth corner if he does well enough on special teams.
