Morgan Pears

OG | (6-6, 310, 5.3) | Colorado State
By Pro Football Weekly

Notes: High school wrestler and track weight man. Redshirted in 1998. Started twice in '99, the last seven games in 2000 and every game the last two years. Won first-team All-Big West honors last fall.

Positives: Pears is a position-type blocker with nice size. He can stay on his feet, sustain his blocks and even get movement when he gets low and plays with leverage. He has been a very durable starter for the past three years.

Negatives: Has trouble bending his knees and lacks quick feet, hands and twitch. Slow off the ball and gets way too upright much of the time. As a result, he loses his strength and lets opposing tackles get under his pads.

Summary: A size guy with limited athletic ability who is no kick-butt killer.
