Chad Setterstrom

OL | (6-3, 309, 5.44) | Northern Iowa
By Pro Football Weekly

Notes: Wrestled and played baseball in high school. Redshirted at center in 1998. Was the starting right tackle the last four seasons. Second-team All-Gateway Conference selection in 2000 and '01 and a first-team pick last fall. Third-team Division I-AA All-American in '01.

Positives: Is quick off the ball and into position. Has quick feet and good balance. Can shuffle and slide and is a good worker. Plays with pride and has some nastiness in him. Picks things up quickly, anticipates well and can play center in a pinch.

Negatives: Tends to overextend when not blocking in line. Isn't strong enough and cannot use his hands effectively. Plays with too much finesse and doesn't get good fits on the second level. Fat percentage was way too high for his size as a senior, and he measured at more than 26 percent at the Combine. Could stand to improve his upper-body strength.

Summary: Has the tools to develop into a fine player if he can improve his technique and get and stay in better shape.
