Brock Forsey

RB | (5-11, 200, 4.7) | Boise State
By Pro Football Weekly

Notes: Fifth-year senior who as a redshirt freshman, rushed for 313 yards and two touchdowns, caught seven passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns and returned 13 kicks for 337 yards. Rushed for 197-914-9, caught 23-399-7 and returned 24-517 in 2000. Carried 246-1,207-13 in '01, when he also caught 35-369-3 and returned 17 kickoffs for 362 yards. In '02, including the bowl game, Forsey carried 295-1,611-26 and caught 36-282-6.

Positives: Superproductive, all-purpose back who knows where the endzone is. Has fine run vision and skills and is very tough and competitive. Sees the cutback lanes and knows when to hit them. Hits the hole hard and fights for extra yardage. Catches the ball well and returns kickoffs and punts. Has some make-you-miss in the open field. Runs with good body tilt and is always falling forward. Tough goal-line runner who fights not to be denied.

Negatives: Lacks great size and speed. Does not have exceptional quickness or a second gear. Gets caught from behind. Played on a team that had very good people around him so he couldn't be keyed upon and generally got good blocking help.

Summary: A terrific college player who is a longshot for the NFL because of his lack of quickness and speed for a back his size. However, he still has a chance because of heart, skills and productivity.
